What is the thing call “I” in your mind?

What is the thing called “I” in your mind?

Well, it’s a thought.

It’s a thought that we use to know things. It means there’s a certain knowledge that we use to know entities, like when we see a flower, we get this idea of identifying it’s a flower. If it is yellow, we get this certain knowledge that figuring out that it is yellow in color as a thought.

Likewise, when we see the figure of our body, we think this body is “I”. Actually, if we cut this body into parts and spread them, we can figure out that there is nothing there to call as “I”.  It’s a thought knowing that this body is “I”. If we see an illusion of our mind, we used to know from a thought that this mind is “I”. Some can identify using the thought of knowing things to find out the soul is the thing called “I”. This is the wrong awareness. Even we can say any object is “I” too because we figure out that object as I.” I” is just a thought process from our mind.

And there’s a connection with ego[Manna] and “I.” It’s using this “I” figure of thought as "I,” or I am higher than others, I am lower than others, I am equal to others, I am not equal to others, likewise. These are also thoughts. Losing the thought "I" helps to cure ego because there’s a connection between these two.

It’s unfair not to talk about “my” when I talk about ”I.". “My" is also a thought of capturing clinging to things. We restrict things as “my” from a thought to capture things when we cling to them. If we lose them, we get depressed. Thinking of everything as “not mine" is also a thought. If we do like that, we won’t be depressed when we lose them. It’s a state of mind. We mostly cling to desired entities and people.

"I" is also a combination of a quantum field. A combination of particles made the thought. Until the particles hold on, the thought will exist. As soon as the particles' rhythm discharges, the thought will vanish.
